I was at Leeds three hours before anyone else. I wandered off to stalk the bass player from the support band to kill some time. When I got back at 6 p.m. there were about five people at the door.

There are NO manics fans in Dundee. I am assured of that.

Admittedly that is true.

I got to Leeds early as well, but I didn't want to queue on my own so went to sit in a bus shelter and ate a M&S fruit salad. It wasn't the best afternoon of my life.

I think there were still only about 5 people there when doors opened!

LOL wtf?

We got to Wolves at 4 but my mum still thought we were mental, before I explained that the people there had probably been there since the early morning.

I arrived a couple of minutes before doors opened. Stood behind about five people maximum as the queues went in. Went to the loo, got a drink and still managed to get on the second row with no hassles. I don't think I'd ever do the sitting outside a venue in the wee small hours thing. No matter how much I love the band!

I never queue for concerts.I usually join the line about 6.30 for doors opening at 7.I've always been lucky to get a good spot at the front.I couldn't wait all day like some fans although fair play to them for doing it.I know I'd get fed up hanging around.

gosh Faster was rather, well, slower
Odd how they still manage to pull off the venom in You Love Us, but not Faster

Do you mean a photocopy of it, or just the setlist? If the latter, then:-

or on the newspage, or in the setlist thread.

...Or if you mean a recording: It's already doing the rounds on here and on Dime.

In know I'm a bit late for this post but what the hell...

This was the best Manics gig I've seen, fantastic performance, setlist and venue. Had to travel from Manchester after work, msiing the support act (no big loss according to most people on here). The album sounded amazing and the greatest hits set was great.

The civic hall was a great venue, better than places like the MEN in Manchester from gigs a few years ago where the atmosphere and accoustics are dreadfull.

I loved every minute!
