They're going to tease us on stage

'We've lost our song again, can you see it?

'Behind you!'

It would be very cruel if that one had decent lyrics.

Nicky was probably cleaning and then bashed his head on a shelf, which flung a tape in the air and onto his head.

If they're gonna put out a song they've "found", it'd be great to get something else along the lines of the God Save The Manics EP. That was a great little release.

I remember Nicky saying that James is notorious for losing lyrics (though perhaps he just loses Nicky's waffling about cricket and salt & vinegar crisps). As for recordings, I remember them discussing the recording process for Lifeblood, about how the industry was changing and for the first time they found themselves walking around carrying all the samples of their album on storage devices. Perhaps it's a Lifeblood or SATT track they'd just put in the wrong file.

Alternatively, Nicky criticised their Know Your Enemy production because they were working on too many songs. There could be a range of demo CDs with Wattsville Blues (alt version) or songs about Cuba and Clinton's foreign policy that we haven't heard - but I'm not personally too excited by that prospect.

I remember reading years ago that five songs on the album were rough cuts that they preferred to final mixes or rerecordings. If memory serves, Let Robeson Sing, Freedom Of Speech, My Guernica, Intravenous Agnostic and I forget the fifth.

I'm sure they must have loads of lyrics or songs they never released, doesn't mean they are any good!
