I haven't read too much of this since I got home, so I'll just say this.

Is that what we were talking about? I didn't read anything after I posted, either.

tsk, you're not here to argue at all, where's your community spirit?

Part two of my exclusive report investigating whether the average person on the street is indeed bored with the Manics.

---

'Mrs 3', 39
Porco: Excuse me madam, could I just ask you a simple question for some research I'm doing?
Woman 3: Certainly.
Porco: Are you bored with the Manics?
Woman 3: Yes, I think so.
Porco: Is there any particular reason?
Woman 3: They come over here from Manchester and think they're better than us. But really, they're not. I realise this isn't as big a city as Manchester but - -
Porco: No, sorry, not MANCS, MAN-ICS, Manic Street Preachers, the band... ?
Woman 3: Oh ... [embarrassed] um... yes, I am bored of them too. They bore me. They come on the radio and think they're better than all the other bands. But really they're not. I realise they have achieved a long career with numerous hits and awards, but CLARENCE! CLARENCE! TAKE THE SCISSORS OUT OF YOUR MOUTH CLARENCE! BAD BABY! I'm sorry, I have to go now.
Porco: Ok... um, thanks.

---

'Mr. 4', 41
Porco: Excuse me sir, could I just ask you a simple question for some research I'm doing?
Man 4: Certainly.
Porco: Are you bored with the Manics?
Man 4: Am I bored with the Manics? Now there's a question, yup. I had some chap down the street ask me for my views on the over-farming of carrot crops. That was very tedious indeed. The Manic Street Preachers though, hmmmmm.... [looks skywards and ponders for around 30 seconds]
Porco: Sir? Are you ok?
Man 4: Upon reflection I am not bored with the Manic Street Preachers one jot! In fact I do believe I shall go and purchase the remaining albums from their back catalogue which I have thus far neglected right this instant! Tally-ho and sally forth, away to the record storrrrrrrrrre!!
Porco: Great! Thanks.
Man 4: [Stands still]
Porco: Ok, that's it. Thanks.
Man 4: [Stands still]
Porco: Oh dear, I've just noticed you're wearing slippers. Are you ok?
Man 4: Capital idea! Toast a grapefruit? Several times a day, without fail.
Nurse 1: Come on George, let's get you back to the mini-bus shall we? Sorry, he wasn't bothering you was he?
Porco: No, that's alright. Could I just ask you a question though? Are you bo-... oh don't worry...

---

More to follow!

In part three of my exclusive report on who is bored with the Manics, I uncover some surprising opinions.

---

'Miss 5', 22
Porco: Excuse me madam, could I just ask you a simple question for some research I'm doing?
Young Woman 5: Alright.
Porco: Are you bored with the Manics?
Young Woman 5: Yeah. I like their older stuff, from when Richey was still around.
Porco: Ok... like The Holy Bible?
Young Woman: What?! No, I mean proper early, like Generation Terrorists and the good half of Gold Against The Soul. They sold out with The Holy Bible, it was too good really, brought a lot of new fans who didn't get the band like the old fans did.
Porco: Right... ok, thanks!

---

'Mr. 6', 72
Porco: Excuse me sir, could I just ask you a simple question for some research I'm doing?
Man 6: Ok.
Porco: Are you bored with the Manics?
Man 6: I am a fan, so not really, I just wish they'd keep releasing cassettes. The money I would pay for just one more Manics cassette… well I guess that dream of balancing the collection on my Manics cassette shelves is over. I guess if I had the internet I could find a rare release or something, but I hate computers ever since that incident at work with the staplers, the office photocopier, the laptop and the two florescent… - hey, why am I telling you all this? Sorry. No, I'm not bored with the Manics at all.
Porco: Ok. Thanks.

---

More astonishing perspectives on this issue to be posted in due course.

I'm bored of people who are bored of the manics. I'm excited about them and the new album coming out.

If you're bored of them try getting into other bands like the Backstreet Boys, Daft Punk and Wham!

-bored out of your mind
-bored of being bored

Please don't put Daft Punk, an amazing band, inbetween those two 'acts'.

what the fuck is wrong with Wham! ??? all they ever wanted to do was be woken up before anyone go-goed, hang at Club Tropicana (where, btw, drinks are free), sticking together like bad boys and then take us to the edge of heaven.

we are all one Sean Moore "I Quit" statement away from seeing Nick & James take to the stage in bollock revealing uber-short tennis shorts, let us never forget that.
