Sony are a classic big corp - it's a shame that they can't get over internal gubbins in order to make money in a slightly less traditional route.

The hardest thing with these sort of things is knowing people who can afford to be benevolent with money (and have immediate access to it), not expect an immediate return on it and not expect interest payments in the meantime.

Does anyone have any contacts in the press that could gently nudge Sony into action - especially with a new album pending? There must be an angle to take without stirring the hornets nest.

Without wishing to adversely pry in private business, what sort of figures will sort the issue out?

It makes me angry and annoyed that you're not being allowed to release this film yet due to having to pay out more money for rights, etc. If I win the lottery next weekend I'll help fund this film!
ANy chance of seeing anymore possible outtakes on your Youtube site? I can't view the live footage of Sun that you put up a bit back for some reason.

Someone help my memory here, please. I swear that once upon a time, there was a No Manifesto trailer that started with Sean listing a bunch of the band's awards and accomplishments, and then he says something like, "And yet no one knows who we are." I'm working on a little project about the Manics and want to include that quote, but now I can't find that trailer. Did I dream the whole thing? Did that trailer need to be removed because of the Sony goons? Does anyone know anyplace else where I could view that segment of Sean, or at least provide me the quote I'm talking about? You'd earn my undying love and gratitude

I do remember it briefly, aye. He was saying they'd had x number of top 40 singles, sold 4 million albums (if I remember correctly) and then he said that line where nobody still knows who they are.
