Well, of things I have, I'd say the Canadian clamshell picture disc set is my favorite promo item I own that has music.

The generation terrorists urinal mat really takes the cake, though (and yes, I've got one).

They're an absolute bitch. I've got Everlasting and Tolerate, but I'll probably never find You Stole The Sun...

I decided not to mess with getting them one-by-one. Wanted all of 'Em or nothing. Hate having incomplete sets.

the Japanese mini LP CD reissues from last year. Sony Japan did a really good job at replicating everything from the original vinyl albums.

19 years and 2 days ago I was watching Izzy Stradlin's last gig with GnR at Wembley, I was only 12!

Edit: on topic, my fave is the original pressing 'Canadian' Holy Bible I purchased for £130!

I'd really like those, wish they'd release them here.

Not a rarity per se, but it is pretty much unique

Yeah... Am I right in thinking there are only 12 copies of each? I know there are at least two of us on here who have Tolerate and Everlasting but no You Stole The Sun... Argh.

Non-official - about 50 - 60 old fanzines from the 1990s, old videos (VHS) that fans used to make up and post to me, postcards, old cassette tapes of demos, bootlegs, gig tickets, t-shirts, interviews from British TV in the 1990s.

Official - some 7" singles, Japanese Theme From Mash CD, cassette tape singles, THB special edition, other randoms such as Kylie's Some Kind of Bliss and the Lopez Song James did, old videos - one in a red VHS called Everything Live (I think), also got a copy of You Love Us single which I think had the song "Starlover" on it.

I dont like all this modern stuff - DVDs, internet singles, mobile phones, the kids dont know theyre born these days! Bring back cassette tapes, videos, physically queing for tickets (none of this buying a ticket "online" bulldog) and get rid of digital downloads - have never bought anything digitally. Is it true there are some MSP songs which were released on download only?? If so can I not buy a CD or cassette tape of them?

Just realised probably nothing Ive mentioned is special edition/promo/rarity but hey...

No Manics song has been download only, some exclusive versions of songs have been but every song should be on a physical release somewhere.

Ghost Of Christmas? and God Save The Manics was also actually for download only, excluding 500 free copies.

Surely it was more than that if you count the ones given out at the gig as they had loads of boxes?

Technically I have shared ownership of a copy of the Ghost of Christmas on CD too as they were on tour when it was made available and so we'd have had to wait ages to hear it so we persuaded Wire to give us the copy in his pocket and then bought a £7 discman from Argos the next day. I'm not convinced it qualifies as a promo though as it has the title written on in marker pen and not a lot else, even the GSTM promo had a piece of paper in it with the title on.

Not sure on the rarities point
