Definitely. Faster's great, but I'd really love to hear PCP.

Ha, you're going to Hull? You must really really love em. At least I'm from Hull, that's a half decent excuse to go...

What was last night's set like, then?

Every time I've been into my local HMV over the past fortnight, the Postcards album has been on, often on both floors at once (different songs). I'm thinking now this is less of a coincidence than first thought!

In my local HMV they had their own display stand just inside the door with all the different versions of the album, including the boxset. Aswell as a nice big poster on the window, facing out onto the street. So they did good, in Cork at least.

There were big hoardings over the entrance to HMV on Oxford Street too, which was a pleasant surprise.

Aye, same here in Edinburgh. I didn't get to see it myself, but a mate mentioned it to me.

Wow, they've really sold their soul on this tour haven't they?

One exclusive radio gig, one gig for HMV peeps and one for industry types and lucky fans. Does anyone know if they've got any more of these planned?

either i'm very blind or the two HMV stores in croydon didn't get sent promotional material - or the sutton one.... certainly no posters in any windows or stand displays inside. Anyhow that was yesterday - onwards and upwards to Hull (would still be interested in a set list from last night though)...

I reckon it would've been at best:

Quote:
Motorcycle Emptiness
Your Love Alone Is Not Enough
It’s Not War (Just The End of Love)
Postcards From A Young Man
Some Kind of Nothingness
Motown Junk
If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next
Tsunami
Ocean Spray
You Love Us
A Design For Life
Basically all the usual hits they've done on this tour. Hammersmith is loads better than Brixton, they should have played there anyway.

I doubt Carlise was cancelled for this, they obviously need to keep the production on the road and it was just their luck that the opportunity to do this came up.
