I want them to do brixton the day before Suede. So I can queue three days in a row for manics-suede-suede.
But I realise that is very selfish.

I can't do the coming up night because I'm working, but manics-manics-suede-suede would be perfect. I could spend most of a week on the streets of Brixton. Obviously not sleeping there though. I'm not that hardcore.

Sorry for not being able to help. I have the same problem because Hamburg is the farthest away from where I live, London would be easier and cheaper to travel to.
But I'm not going to panic yet! :-)
But - Hamburg-Berlin is quite far by train and everytime we went there have been delays (no, I'm not panicking yet...)

I hate the O2. What on earth made someone think that was a good idea? It'll be a bit...empty, surely, in the nicest possible way.

They could never sell out the o2 unless it was another Big Gig 2007 (which was fucking immense, but it was probably Bloc Party and Kasier Cheifs who sold it out). It was one of the most memorable nights of my life but sadly I doubt many other people would bother.
For anyone who mentioned them playing the Indigo2 that's amost to small for them, it's pretty much a bar from my drunken memories.

yes, big gig 07 was absolutely amazing, but no way they'd be able to acheive it on their own.
And agree, from what my alcohol soaked mind from that night can remember, the indigo2 was a small bar/ club. Far too small for them.

more to come? perhaps Berlin is not lost.
no, seriously. the journey to Hamburg would take me 2 days by train and the hostel would be as expensive as hell as it was previously in West Germany. therefore flying to London seems remarkably convenient and cheap in comparison to Hamburg trip and I'm afraid my supplies of Maltesers are very close to an end. the thing that I don't know German in a communicative level is also in favour of London. and I'd like to go to O2. and I'd love to sightsee London again. not to mention meeting many of brilliant people from the Isles who wouldn't come to Europe for silly Manics' gig.
Why I can't be a billionaire? money would solve most of my problems. actually all of them.

I see Andrea it would be much easier to meet you in England than in Germany itself!
I checked the links and it seems there's a train from Szczecin to Lubeck and there I'd have to catch a train to Hamburg. 2,5 hours from my hometown to Szczecin, 4 hours on train to Lubeck and let's say 2 hours to Hamburg. not good. if I broke it in 2 days it would be more comfortable plus the possibility of queuing. but it would be May and not the best time at the university - i'm not sure if i can allow myself leaving 2-3 days (whole week including London). well last year I almost lost 3 weeks so it wouldn't be that tough but it will be my final BA months and I don't really want to screw that.
