No chance of being able to get time off to go to this that close to Christmas. I hope they film it, they haven't had a live DVD for ages.

If it had been Cardiff, I would have talked Ade into it as a birthday treat for me, but there's no fun in going to London. I'll pass, and hope they fill the Arena; and come back in a couple of years with a proper tour.

i'm deciding whether i should have standing or a seat ticket, i'm always exhausted and semi-conscious towards the end of their standard gigs, so i might go for seating, and appreciate the gig without jumping up and down like the kangaroo i am. but then again, seating might be TERRIBLE D;

This is just bloody brilliant!!!!!

It has made up for a very shitty day so far and I Love The Manics even more than ever.

What a brilliant Christmas present. Yehhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Off for an early drink then I'll be booking a hotel for the wkend. Manics Christmas do and my fella's birthday all in one wkend; just perfect.

can anyone answer me about wether you have to be with o2 to get the presale tickets as I have been told that anyone is entitled to the presale tickets!

I've booked my coach from Plymouth to London on the 17th so I'll be in London from half 3

If something goes wrong and I end up not going to the gig, at least I can use it to get back home for Christmas because it saves my parents driving to Plymouth to pick me up.

If you go onto the Manics website they have a link for tomorrow's presale. you don't have to be on O2 but on the day you'll proberly have to wait till all the O2 subcribers go in first!!!!

Looking forward to hearing those lost classics such as La Tristesse Durera, You Stole the Sun From My Heart and Motorcycle Emptiness again!

But a great Christmas present and considering the prices of London arena gigs I've been to recently quite reasonable in comparison.

It's a big venue, it seems unlikely they will sell out fast...the ones for the three shows in may didn't sell out that fast. I know it's a one-off, but people will still remember the extensive tour they just did.

I can't believe it would sell out in one day, as Takk says they've toured extensively since last September, and I'm sure even the most casual of Manics fans are beginning to tire of the greatest hits style set-lists. Even if standing sells out quickly in the first half hour thanks to touts (as happened when I recently bought tickets for Rammstein at the O2) there are bound to be seating tickets available well after they've gone on sale.

Although the pre-sale may sell out as they only get a limited number of tickets, I got tickets to see Pulp at Brixton in a pre-sale and that sold out moments later.
