Since I'm going to come from Italy, I have some question for you:
1. Since I'm coming with my girlfriend, who is not a fan, when do we have to depart from the city center (by tube, jubilee line) to the O2? Are there long queues for the standing area? I'm not interested in being in the front row, but I absolutely don't want to miss the beginning of the show. And my girlfriend probably doesn't want to queue since lunchtime, she hasn't never been in London and she want to be a tourist as much as she can.
2. How does the booking work? I'm going to book on the 2nd of September, but where (and when) can I take the actual tickets? Is there a different queue?
3. What's the weather like in that time of the year?

Thanks in advance!
No idea about 1 and 2 but as for 3. I'm safe to say it'll be freezing! We've had the coldest summer since 1998 (apart from that glorious heatwave thanks to a solar flare reaching us) so I'd wrap up. But however cold you feel in the queue, at least you have someone to snuggle up to. And inside it'll be warmer.

Thanks, but...how "freezing"? Colder than zero? Colder than -10?

Not sure, but it's going to be cold! Maybe Hell will finally have frozen over for the band to play the o2.

I can't make it! I did seriously think of going, I know people I could stay with but it's too close to Christmas. (Which is going to wipe out anything I've managed to save for anyway.) Plus gigs bring out the autistic in me. I don't know how to react to people.

Thanks!

And...can anybody answer to my other two questions?

What do you want? I was talking to my dearest friend: Depression!
Leave us alone!

Hoping something will come up that might mazingly mean that I can go. You never know! I wrote off the Birmingham gig and there I was! Would have to be down the front to be worth going though, going by UEF's pics!

That is why attending shows with friends or gf/bf is something to avoid like shit, to me

You could book right now, if you want, just go here.
If you need to wait until friday, this and this are the right links.

If you book via gigsandtour(seetickets), you will receive your tickets straight to your home and you'll have to sign for them.
Same thing if you book via ticketmaster, but I think you can choose to print them at your house as well.
It's quite up to you actually

I'm not sure what you mean by number 2, in answer to 3, I'd bring a coat, but it almost certainly won't be snowing or anything that bad (famous last words!)

If you take the city centre as Oxford Circus, then walk to Bond Street Tube Station and it'll be anout 25 minutes on the jubilee line to North Greenwich.

Assuming it starts early because of the length of the set, at say 7pm, maybe to be on the safe side leave at 5:30pm so you've got an hour and a half for the tube, the short walk to the o2 and time for drinks/merchandise/food etc. That'll be more than enough time and you won't miss the start. I think it's best to be on the safe side and give yourself more time in case they play Love's Sweet Exile or something like that first off, and it'd be crap to miss that!

I'm sure you know this already but for any travel stuff this site is invaluable:

I know, but I don't want to leave her alone for the night and she told me that she wants to see me crying during the show (I'll be moved, I know it already)

Well, but isn't the pre-order just for O2 card owners?
And, for the other links, won't it be expensive to receive the tickets straight to my home? Maybe it's better printing them, if it's possible...

Thanks very much (and I'm waiting for an answer to my pm )
