I'd complain, I seriously would! With my online shop, I offer Recorded or Special Delivery, and obviously Special costs more. If someone paid for Special and I sent it recorded or just ordinary, I don't think I'd be very popular!!! Actually - I seem to remember the passport people doing the same thing. "Secure post" and it just tumbled through my front door.

Well.... I got an email from See Tickets apologising for my ticket not being dispatched yet. They always do it. Then say "it usually won't arrive until 14 days before the gig." It's 3 months away - why are you telling me this???? (in case I'd been on here and got upset my ticket hadn't come?)

Their definition of "secure" is pretty vague, I live in a flats without individual mail boxes, just a wooden rack with numbered trays (bit like in an office) and I constantly find secure delivery stuff in there that hasn't been signed for and has just been popped through the door. I feel in that situation it can't be that "secure".

in one way i'm glad just cos rearranging delivery would've been a pain. At least with royal mail secure u can pick it up from the sorting office but this was a private company. I did get a text asking me on the same day if i hadn't received it to phone them. It is a waste of money though as I can't remember the last time anything was lost in the post. Next time i'll just go for normal delivery.

Bit worried - my ticket was getting delivered to my home address rather than uni and as other people who got O2 priority have got their tickets now, mine should be arriving soon. My mum sent me a package today with a few bits of post and a letter she'd written but the parcel looked like it had already been opened so I'm worried perhaps she'd put my ticket in there and it's been taken or fallen out. I've texted her to find out how many letters she'd put in there so hopefully it just hasn't arrived yet!

If I don't get a response no worries but I figure I'll put it out there...I purchased a ticket for the show already and currently plan to purchase a plane ticket in the next month or so that would have me leaving Washington DC Thursday evening Dec 15th and put me in London the morning of Friday Dec 16th...I'm starting to do research on hotels, transportation etc. in case I end up doing this solo but I'm posting to see if anyone wants to 'adopt' me for 2 days (I plan on leaving back to DC on Sunday the 18th) by assisting me with transportation from the airport and a floor to crash on. In return I'd be happy to pay my share of the costs of gas and lodging and would also return the favor by opening my house for visitors to stay (and can play tour guide if requested haha) if anyone decides to take a holiday to the Washington DC area (I live about 10 miles out of the city in Virginia). Besides the show itself the only thing I want to check out in London is the new Supreme store in Soho; other than that I can go with the flow of what has already been planned by those 'adopting' me. Again if there are no responses and I roll solo it's fine but it would certainly be easier to link up with people who know where they're going instead of trying to develop an itinerary from scratch. As my plane ticket isn't purchased yet the arrival and departure dates/times might vary slightly but I wanted to post this to see if anyone was interested, if so just shoot me a PM thanks!
