true, yes. but the first announcement, the infamous "38 tracks on 38 CD ones", said that it would be a 7" size poster. it is at least better than it sounded at first.

That would be too convenient and desireable.

If you got the poster it would make sense to get it framed. Rather than sat, folded, in a box.

Iron it out first of course... but through a clean tea towel so you don't fuck it up.

So the box set does include b-sides then? Still, I'm not sure even that justifies the price ($260 CAD). Handsome set, but too pricey for what it offers. I'm sure I'll get it at some point...when the cost comes down by at least $100. My Beatles in Mono cost around that much and I got that one as a gift (plus, that's The Beatles)...I'm not in the habit of spending that kind of money on things I by and large already have despite the fancy packaging.

It includes some b-sides at least; the wording on one of the previous versions implied it would only be the CD1 b-sides.

WHO KNOWS.

It's a collection of CD1s, that seems pretty obvious to me.

The lipstick and mirror thing is a bit saft!! it's something like some crappy girl band would do to get extra sales not a bunch of middleaged men.

Haha! It's probably shitty makeup too, you know, the kind that puts you in the emergency room with a killer alergic reaction.

On the box set:

This unique treasure itself has proven to be very popular so you might want to pre-order your copy soon.
I dispute that claim.

I'll just make regular visits to HMV until I spot it I think! I'm getting confused with release dates for the single, this and Q mag!

Confusion over release dates seems to be part and parcel of Manics releases these days!

Keeps us on our toes I guess....
