Just to clear up a myth, pubs do not close at 11. Many may do, but many won't. Especially on a saturday night in parts of London that are busy in the evenings.

I won't be doing the pre or after gig meet ups, as I'll be travelling in from Herts and will have to leave immediately after the gig, because thanks to Euston and their shitty timetable, the trains late on Saturday are a joke.

Right....I got an email from Seetickets back in early November informing me that my tickets will not be posted to me and that I´ll be able to collect them at the venue´s box office from 7pm onwards on the day of the gig. I emailed them and stated that this was unacceptable and asked them to send the tickets to me. They basically refused and told me that I´d be able to collect the tickets whenever the venue´s box office is open for the gig. I checked the O2´s website and it says the box office opens at 12 noon so I thought I could collect the tickets when it opens. I emailed Seetickets yesterday asking them to confirm this was indeed the case and today they replied that I´ll be able to collect the tickets from 6.30 onwards.

I can´t fucking believe it, how hard can it be to send the tickets to me? I´ve ordered tickets from them God knows how many times and they´ve always arrived safely in the post so I wonder why the fuck they can´t be sent to me this time (they said the tickets won´t be posted to me as they may get lost in the mail- I suspect the real reason is that they just can´t be arsed to post them). I´m flying from abroad for this gig and am paying good money for the flights, accommodation etc so I find it unacceptable that I won´t get my tickets before doors. I had planned queuing from early on but what´s the point if I won´t get my tickets before doors?

Seetickets= utter cunts Their service is shoddy anyway and I´d boycott them if I could but now they´ve really crossed the line. For fuck´s sake.

Sorry for the swearing, I´m just absolutely livid right now.

Yeah that sounds pretty disgraceful.

Did they add P&P or a handling charge when you booked the tickets?

I had the same problem and I was totally in tears.
They don't send tickets abroad because they can't trace them and they often get lost in mail.
Problem is, they can't refund standing tickets because they don't have their own code or anything, and they probably don't want to deal with angry customers who haven't received their tickets because of the postal service.
The only thing is to get a friend's UK address(Fwanny ) and ask seetickets to send the ticket there, which they do in no time.

Our tickets from Seetickets have been lost in the post and they will not send out replacements. Been told we have to call at the book office to collect the replacements. I'm going to have to get my mate to chase this up as I don't want to collect our tickets at 6.30 pm

Oh, David, it sucks! Maybe one of you can join the queue for the box office and the other one the one for the doors?

It certainly sucks. I'm going to get my mate to ring Seetickets and play hell. We have paid for secure delivery that needs to be signed how can they get lost in the post grrrrr!!

We were happy to collect them from 02 box office when it opens at midday but if we can not collect them until 18.30 like still_unfashionable has quoted then it's going to be a nightmare

I just called the scam that calls itself Seetickets. Again, they refused to send the tickets to me but now I was told I´ll be able to collect the tickets at 5.30pm instead of 6.30pm. I guess I´ll have to settle with that.

Lee: Yes, they charged a transaction fee (£5.25) that was supposed to cover international delivery by recorded post

Refresher: I´m sorry hear about that. The tickets were sent by recorded delivery and they got lost? I suspect Seetickets didn´t actually send them out at all and just wanted to cut costs by having you (well, us) collect them at the venue.

I dread to think how large my phone bill will be, the Seetickets customer service number is a premium-rate one, isn´t it and it´s not cheap to make international calls where live.

Travelling up from Cardiff on the morning of the gig.

Hoping they will allow us to collect tickets at 5.30 pm instead of 6.30 pm like still_unfashionable's tickets.

still_unfashionable thanks for your comments. Hope we both get our tickets You should send a copy of your phone bill with a complaint letter to seetickets.

A family member of mine is seriously ill in hospital. if they are not out of the ICU by the 16th then I'll have 2 tickets, as well as train from leeds and hotel.

Obviously I'll only know by the 16th but I'll come on here if they're spare as I wouldn't want to waste them.
