I mean people forget it takes time to get into a venue even if you arrive early, the venue could be smart & just open the doors at 6pm but that's too much for them I think. I remember it took ages to get into Linkin Park in 2008 but NIN in 2009 was bad for the ones who were collecting, thankfully it didn't take that long that night 20 mins maybe.

Manics are not known for a good set but the Lifeblood saw all the stage equipment in all white.

Just got offered free tickets for the corporate box but had to turn them down due to work and my gf. I am so going to regret this.

So is it impossible to meet up inside the venue with a person who got a standig ticket? (I've got a seated one). Maybe at the restaurants?

Oh god, I wish they'd let us somehow know the stage times. Is it so much to ask for a barrage of 3million emails/tweets and facebook messages?

Right, I've got seating tickets right at the back of the venue, but a friend has said she may be able to get me into a corporate box.

Having never been at an event in a corporate box, how does it compare for sound, etc? Which should I go for?

I know I was being sarcastic. i made two orders of tickets, so I have every email 4times from seetickets for some reason, The Manics, and tweets, and facebook messages.

I bet I'll be late now.

"Set list for this show is difficult to put together-exciting-random-unexpected-should be fun xxx" - I just saw this on the Manics twitter from two days ago - if the setlist is just the singles then how is it going to be random and unexpected? Do you think this means that there's a few surprises?

I'm excited now!!!!!!

Anyone from Edinburgh who are travelling down on Fri night fancy a wee drink before they go? I'm meeting set_phasers_to_stun (Stuart) for a pint before we brave the megabus!

From experience, a corporate box is worth it for the comfort and conveniance, but sound and vision really depends on the position of the box. If it's close to either side of the stage then it'll be limited but better, if it's at the back then just don't bother.

I set off down south tomorrow so I will have to catch up with all the goss when I get back on Sunday evening. It will either be 'I MADE IT!!!' shrieking or whimpering in the corner!

Oh well, at least I know I am guaranteed a t-shirt whatever happens. As long as David remembers to get me one! (I'm sure he will!)

Unexpected because they're going to play So Why So Sad last.
