I've always wanted that Forever Delayed book but it's out of print now sadly and I don't fancy purchasing a knackered 2nd hand copy of the book on the internet.

Santa's got Manics fans interests at heart, clearly.

I got the lanky man's first photobook for angst teenagers for Christmas too. It's amazing and more than anything, hilarious.

Hey people, merry chrimbo and all that stuff. I'm a happy bunny today. Got a near mint copy of Forever Delayed from Santa. Great pictures, not arty farty like Polaroid book. Great stuff!

i got this book from someone, and i just thought.... what a load of bollocks!

a bunch of shadowy churches and fields, illegibly scribbled over, just a crappy vanity project from a person in a band more about intellect and meaning than decorative bullshit.

I mean, do any of you have the fancy coffee, swank art living room this is supposed to go in?

Even if that is true on this, that's still around a ten pound markup over that.

Yeah, I don't know what to make of it really. I don't think it's something I'd keep going back to.

I honestly don't think that you got the purpose of this book.
It wasn't meant to be anything. It was meant to be a family album, a collection of images of things/places that the family has seen/visit thoughout the years, and it's exactly what it is.

mode fangirl on
If the book had had more Richey, you would have called Nicky a whore and the book disrespectful.

well, my (considerably) better half got it for Christmas this morning and she's over the moon with it. which is impressive, considering that she really, really, really does not like pink at all......
