Album up a few places to #79 from last weeks #82, it's great to see it selling at a steady pace especially in the Xmas period when sales are really high. Go Manics! Nice to see it move up the chart too slightly instead of down.

Aye, it's gone now. I'm sure it'll trickle in the sales over time but not large enough amounts every week to be in any charts. It's sold over 60,000 in the UK to date.

Finally got a copy! (Thank you Amazon)
I got the blue sash version. The booklet has got the same type of paper as the booklet for SATT.
I'll listen to it in a bit. I haven't listened to the band for months. I couldn't go to the o2 so I was waiting for this and starved myself of Manics sounds all these weeks. Even didn't bother with You Tube videos of songs. (And reverted to type and went for late 60's/70's stuff... looks like it's ingrained in me)

the dvd version includes the CDs but has a DVD with all the videos for the singles. It also comes in the form of a book which is nicer. Quality of the dvd is a bit poor in places though. The video for Faster is blurry.

I recommend not listening to them for a good couple of months, coming back to the band with this album, it's like being born again. Even the songs I've joined in on slagging make sense here.

Yeah I agree somewhat there. Listening to this made me realise just how fantastic overall history they've had, something you can sometimes lose the track of when you just focus on individual albums.

That said, it makes YLAINE feel even worse when you pile it with the rest of their history. Listening to the comp and getting to that song somewhat reopened the old SATT-era wounds that I thought time had healed already.

The box set's finally dropped below the £100 mark http://www.popmarket.com/manic-stree...tails/27650421

Dunno why it's like that but you'll have to register to actually see the price, but you'd have to do that to buy it anyway so whatever. Seems to be the same company as the one on the official site. Fuck it, I'll get mine next week.

Maybe I'm being a div but I can't find a search bar on the site but having a browse I've noticed a few of these LP reissues getting bundled together for other bands, maybe they'll do one for Manics. Will have to keep an eye out for that...

A complete singles' collection was already done by me back in 2005, when I was in high school. Mine included Suicide Alley and New Art Riot and Ended with Empty souls. And the CDs were split to "the Richey era" on CD1 and "after Richey" on CD2.

And now - I mean, last year - I see they'd actually really release such an album.

How did you come across it?
I ordered it a few weeks back and then they said it's not available anymore.
I don't know what the fuck that means.
