I can't, but I (think I) can see Fwanny's green jacket, so it's like I was able to see myself

Serious question. ()
Is MAH MAN too weak like a baby bird, or are those Maranello basses quite resistant?

Maranello basses are quite cheap!

I wish Nicky would go back to playing a normal looking bass. Maybe he will now.

Right, so MAHMAN is as strong as a ladybug
Shurrup, Maranello basses look so cool.

Me and my friends in front of James were on the big screen far too much, and noticed some very worrying Mitch Ikeda close-ups during animated dancing... *prays they disappear into obscurity*

Seeing those pics of the guests, I think they added very little where we were...mainly because the sound wasn't good and nina's vocals were too low in the mix.

The sound man probably lowered Nina's on purpose being as her reputation as a live singer is crap

I did think she couldn't sing, but it would have been nice to hear her!

She was turned down too low but her voice sounded strong. On occasion, I know she's not, but on the recordings she also sounds strong.

I know I'm late, but better late than never

Had an amazing time down in London. What a great gig!! Up there with the Roundhouse ones!

Was down early for a good spot! Spoke to Suzanne and Claire early on aswell as after the gig.
Also saw Franny briefly in the queue.
Dexter helped pass the queue time with his football updates!
Saw Tim / Hanna very briefly after the gig.

Missed so many people but the day just seemed to fly past!

Ended up second row in front of Nina/Gruff (when they were on).

4 songs I'd not heard live before were:-

Love Sweet Exile - absolutely amazing! JDB got solo bang on.
She is Suffering
This is the day - pretty good and looked good with the big screens.
So why so sad - thought it was good, apart from the dodgy solo.

Other highlights were

Motorcycle Emptiness - love that intro into it
Empty Souls - sounded much better than it did in May
Kevin Carter - always a highlight!
There by the grace of god - I'm not a fan of the song, but it sounded immense on the night!
Revol - perhaps the song of the night! Loved the extended bass bit before the solo. Crowd clapping along.
Ocean Spray - Trumpet solo intro was an interesting start.
ADFL - Great finale as always. The ticker tape was good. Good crowd singing the 2nd verse. Only thing was JDB seemed to get lost in his summer wind bit!

The bars in the O2 were quite busy so headed back to the Docklands Travelodge bar instead.

Headed to the bar, had a few drinks and a pizza. Was good catching up with Alex and Euan also for a few drinks there.

Just hope the 2 years passes just as quick as it did with the PPF.

Did anyone notice that the Ocean Spray solo is actually played on a trumpet now and not the 'Rocking Around the Christmas Tree'-style sax?
