I may check my local poundland this week just to see if there's a copy in there. The last time I saw it in Plym was at Waterstones for £25 or something ridiculous.

How can you say such a thing? I love going there and paying a pound for a mars bar. And it's great because so few people go there, you've usually got the place to yourself.

Aye. Also it's a blast for flicking through random magazines before yawning and putting them back on the shelves.

Off at tangent / OT generally, Poundland have got some good CDs in at the moment, just picked up a spare Truth - and a couple of Idlewild (Hope and Remote, so worth a look).
I've been in that new Poundland today to see if they had the book back in but not, you are right about the CD's, some good one's for a quid

Went in my local Poundland today and looked just in case. Wasn't there, and most of the CDs were shit. But then I went into the Entertainment Exchange just around the corner and picked up Dog Man Star and Fin De Siecle for £1 each so it wasn't all too bad in the end.

Well, after a few months of rootling about in every Poundland i've come across,I finally got a copy of "A version of reason" yesterday from a little second hand shop in Whitstable.. cost me £4.99,but happy with that as it's a pretty good copy, and looks unread...(probably bought from Poundland and re-sold!)

My girlfriend's happy too,as I was usually coming out of poundland loaded up with cheap socks, pot noodles and toffee dodgers.... (They were 4 packets for a quid at one point....)

As an aside, while doing the aforementioned rootling around,I did stumble across a manics bootleg in a charity shop.. "And then there were 3"..mainly EMG b-sides,but also has "New Art Riot" on it and a live version of "Love's Sweet Exile" in Japan.... £1.99! Still no leopardskin fur coat though....

Not quite Poundland prices but picked a copy up from HMV for £1.50 yesterday, dunno if they're gonna be everywhere. Was stickered £2, had a sign up sayin about 25% off selected books, wasn't expecting that in there but it was.

I got a copy for £1.99 last month from a discount book shop out of some dogged sense of loyalty.
