i think in nearly 20 years out here in Africa, i have met all of 5 people who had actually heard of the Manics. everyone else i've kind of "introduced" the band to, and they've always loved what they heard. never knowingly given over Autumnsong, mind.

Oh yeah, my wife is not a Manics fan but I dragged her along with me to see them play in Birmingham in December 2010 at the O2 Academy. I don't think she liked the songs very much and her taste leaves a lot to be desired but she did say she liked Autumnsong and Ocean Spray... so that's all I have to say. Bland as hell!!!

Said it before and i'll say it again.

WhopDeFuckingDo, an edit.

Who cares? At least it isn't as bad as the edited tracks on FD. Or as bad as Autumnsong! Actually i wish they had edited Autumnsong, "Wear your eye...".*SNIP* *OVER*.

Musically, Underdogs is probably the edgiest song on SATT and PFAYM combined (or at least it might have been if they hadn't edited it). Anyway, just incase anyone missed it, here's my 'motown' cover of Autumnsong. The way I see it, if you're gonna butcher a Manics song, you might as well do it to a song everyone thinks is shit anyway.
