I'm pretty sure Nicky Wire has been personally been mocking me for singing that wrong.
Yeah I did summat to Takk, I forget what. He resets post counts, it's a proper shame to go from a 13, 000 posts penis to a 0 in one night

I think it was the movie Blood Diamond that taught me how offensive the terms is. That's the one with Leonardo DiCaprio's dodgy South African accent, isn't it?

But yeah, it can't be that far off of getting the N word aired on Radio 1.

Wonder why Richey went for that particular word? Never really thought about what it meant before. But then I've only just worked out what 'MK Ultra turned you paranoid' from Let Robeson Sing is on about. Ooooops!

Carter was born in South Africa during apartheid. He was the first to photograph the public execution of a black woman accused of having a relationship with a police officer by necklacing - placing a rubber tyre filled with petrol around a victim and setting it alight. He'd been beaten up before for going to the aid of a black waiter who was being abused. He was white and from a privileged background and felt somewhat at odds with the general acceptance of the 'way things were' think this kinda conflict went on into his career as a photographer - you record evil but is highlighting it enough or should you intervene .....Or kill yourself cos it's all just fucking too much

Nicky Wire pretty much remains relevant today only because he mocks you. it says more of him than it does you, rise above it mate.

i am not going to upset Takk any time soon.

oddly his didn't get as slammed or mocked as much as the attempted South African accents in Lethal Weapon 2. if Patsy Kensit ever comes here she will be confused by people rolling around laughing at her.

i think i greatly upset Franny and Sculpture by having a non-South African accent, sorry lads.

well said. from what i have gathered in my time here, the Apartheid era saw the media on instruction to basically present a world in which black people did not exist - no SA black faces on TV (and they had all the USA shows dubbed in to Afrkiaans, i gather! imagine what Mr T with a thick Afrikaans accent must have been like!) and absolutely no reporting on the horror that went on in the townships. the scariest part of that was that South Africa still had "the freest press in Africa".

this is a beautiful place full of beautiful people - thankfully the majority from all sides of the "colour segregations" just wanted everyone to be treated the same.

Bet for 3rd overall in the medal table looking very good now for GB-decent odds as well-expecting a late surge from russia next week x

The Wire has a gambling habit. Just as well he keeps backing the mighty Team GB.

The real reason for the search for a hit album is revealed - an attempt to get money to pay back Wire's gambling debts.

Was'nt the Queen Mother an avid gambler, I read that she had direct screens to Bookie shops in her apartment, just imagine her having The Wire round for afternoon tea and a spot of gambling
