It doesn't even have to be political, I'd just like to know he's still alive!

There has been nothing considering Nicky or the band in general could have commented on so much. Thought the golf would have at least raised some comments, he must have been watching.

In away there is a quiet diginity in not tweeting about Thatcher's death. We all know what he, Blackwood and so much of the UK went through during Thatcher's tenure. Something might appear later, but at the moment the silence can be a powerful thing.

I heard once that Nicky has a politics degree. I don't know how true that is...

Disappointed, but not surprised.

If Nicky was prone to quiet dignity in his public statements, I might agree....but here I think it's more likely he's holding back?

They never really say anything especially politically relevant, it's usually pretty abstract. An astute comment on Thatcher would have been nice.

Very excited for dream-pop Manics. This could be a promising direction and tie in with krautrock quite nicely.

fixed up a bit for the benefit of new members who may not yet have clocked how to read the ever-present subtext to anything that Franny deems worthy of posting here.

This could be a promising direction and tie in with krautrock quite nicely. just as i have in the past commented that they would because i, Franny, am the one that the band read when they log on here secretly and scour for idea. i have thought about it and i am certain that James and Sean, well most James, sit and read all the comments and say "this is just a load of total shit except for the bits that Franny writes, let us follow him". would i join the band if they asked me? not sure, really. i like to remain i, Franny, a humble, modest fan. i am not at ease with the idea of joining full time, for my upstaging of James' guitar and Sean's trumpet would make some fans enjoy their previous records less. i would perhaps consider a duet or something with them, perhaps even a limited tour. in regards of the latter, of course it would be on the condition that i, Franny, select the tour venues, i would not wish to go anywhere that people vote for those Ghastly Liberals to an extent of over 10% of the electorate.

I do very much hope this track will be available to buy/download somehow. I don't want this to be another pseudo-released track like Untitled Instrumental.
