Oh my God, the LONGEST of long nights. Could they have booked more dross if they tried? *shudders*

Anyway, re: Fest of 6 - am more than a bit meh about the Sunday line-up, in that there is literally no-one else I even vaguely want to see other than the Manics. Of course there is always the chance I will discover a band, and this is good, but just one that I knew of and liked would have been good. I would like to see Caitlin Moran but it depends how the timings pan out.

Not had my ticket yet, but not too worried - I know when I went to Leeds festival for a day in 2008 they sent my ticket out right up against time, I imagine they do this with festivals in an attempt to cut down on resales/touting. As long as they send it before I have to run off to Newport...

I take it no one else has had their tickets yet either? I know there's still time, but given the festival's slightly lax approach to the organisational side of things, I'm getting slightly twitchy, especially as we'll be travelling down to Wales on the Thursday before the Newport gig and the tickets are being delivered to my house in Wakefield.

I have just been given press accreditation for Festival No.6 with Photo access. Now I am trying to work out how the hell I am going to get there and back let alone where to stay! But Woo!

Anyone heard from Ticketline/FN6 about tickets? I'm getting a bit twitchy too. Want them to arrive now.

Press are being sent information packs as of next week so I assume that'll be the big kick to get promotion and tickets out to everyone. Hold tight

Hello people

I've got a hotel room booked in a village about 8 miles down the road for the Sunday night only. I'm not going any more, so if anyone wants it, let me know before I cancel it.

Cheers

Tickets arrived today! Still no news regarding the shuttle bus from the train station though. When I emailed them they said they would be putting on this service if the demand was there. Getting a bit close now!

Still umming and aahing over whether to hang around in Cardiff for a day or two after the Newport gig and then head down to Number 6 for the Sunday, but I have no desire to stay on site, I don't drive, and the transport situation to and from the site seems needlessly confusing and possibly nonexistent. So... hm

Tickets arrived today too Can relax now! Although still waiting for our park and ride tickets, but I'm less worried about those.

Do gates really open at 9am though? Tickets say 9 on them, but that seems far too early for my liking

As I said, press are getting their "bibles" next week so I assume times etc… will be made public at the same time
