I'm glad it was only my good friend you wished death upon and not me. As for silly, you have no idea. I'm astonished it was quite so controversial to hang around with friends after a gig.

As am I.

Oh of course, because the back of the Motorpoint Arena is where all the cool kids hang about with their mates. Should have realised it was a social gathering rather than people waiting in false hope. I was only trying to be nice.

I'd believe you were trying to be nice, but you were wrong, and you're still being sarcastic. After the event was exceedingly unpleasant because of the apparently controversial decision to see my friends. That's all I shall say, because I'm not not about to treat people has horribly as I was. Suffice to say, you've no idea, and I'd respectfully ask you to just leave it.

I was at the barrier, James's side and had a lot of fun. I liked the new songs, EGDM in particular and can't wait for the new cd now. Thanks to the FDers that kept me company in the queue: hummingbird, sim, khizzy, cri, sandrine and many more. Thank you for the badges shug! You all made the long waiting very pleasant. Hope to meet you again.
Hey! I even got a kiss on the cheek during the gig (which is not that frequent at my age) by a guy because I let his very very small friend to the barrier.
Very upset I couldn't get the setlist though.

Well that's the last time I come down from Scotland for a gig. I thought seeing the band in their home city on a Saturday night would be special. I am afraid I was wrong. There was a real lack of atmosphere or excitement in the audience. Nobody shouted between songs and there wasn't much a singalong. There was very few people jumping about, maybe four rows of folk in the very centre down the front. Perhaps this is because it was an arena?? Are welsh audiences usually so reserved. A manics gig in Glasgow on a Saturday night would be crazy!
The band were on fire as usual though 😀

I think from the sound of it glasgow gigs are more active. Welsh gigs, even the arenas are usually great for a sing song though.

The best gig I went to on Saturday night was the one we accidentally saw in a bar which was band comprising of a DJ and a double bassist. What a treat.

Yo, indeed a great username. I might retract my death wish in its honour.
