We would never agree of the setlist actually. And I'd only gor for James, Nick (Wire) and Sean. With no prerecorded samples.

The Holy Bible in full, Donkeys, Hibernation, Comfort Comes, Just a Kid, Close my Eyes, Sepia, Vision Blurred, No Surface All Feelings, Empty Souls, Solitude Sometimes Is, Doors Closing Slowly, All is Vanity, Peeled Apples, This Joke Sports Severed.
that's it.
Now we're taking :-).

Cologne was my 8th or so Manics gig since 1996 and I think both the atmosphere and teh setlist were once again great.

Of course there are always a few songs you would love to be replaced by others (if you ask me: Ocean Spray, Tsunami and Your stole the sun), but all in all there were some great tracks: the three new ones from Futorology were brilliant, and it was great to hear Suicide, Stay beautiful, Revol, No surface and die in the summertime).

Maybe, he doesn't seem to sing properly at manics gigs....backing vocals from him and wayne are usually ehhh.

To be fair, some of the stuff that he sings with the Manics is a bit out of his range (note some of the backing vocals on Second Great Depression), which is why he might come across as either sounding a bit weak or strained at times. He's really not a bad singer otherwise.

I think mostly the reason backing vocals sound bad on the manics tour is because of what they are asked to do, but still.
