In all honesty, the thing I'm most disappointed by is that they STILL can't be bothered to get rid of that apostrophe.

I won't be purchasing it; this practise which has become the norm now - repackaging albums for anniversaries in deluxe sets and charging obscene ammounts - it does leave a bitter taste in most cases.

The 'Bible' 10th Anniversary was perfect; not a box set, just a double CD, with a DVD, and 10 years later, I still play it a lot and I have watched the DVD quite a few times over the years. Ditto the EMG 10th edition.

The GT box set did look good, I must say that, and even though the price was much too high, it offer more value for money than a lot of the other deluxe editions out there.

Pink Floyd reissued most of their catalogue in massive box sets a few years ago; the contents and the price tag did not seem to match; spending 109€ for what was on offer was savaged in some of the reviews I read.

I bought the Rolling Stones 'Ladies and Gentlemen 1972' box set at the knockdown price of 24€ 2 years after it's initial release; the original price tag was a whopping 110€; and it absoloutely was not worth anything near that. Scarf, poster, badge...it is not these the fans wished for, it was MORE film footage of which we knew was available.

THB, I will be content with the 10th Anniversary Edition.

Won't be buying this, very disappointing. Can't really see what it adds over the previous legacy version.

Aye, that'd be interesting. Don't know why the second half gets ignored by the band so much, it's wonderful, and it was a massive success.

Same. The irritation I feel every time I see it is most likely disproportionate, it's probably closer to disappointment in fact.

I love the GT box set, considering the prices of the other box sets they've put out and similar releases by other bands, I thought £45 for three cds, a dvd, a vinyl and the nice little commemorative bits and bobs was a bargain.

Fucking hell, some sod paid £300 on eBay for it!

Gutted about the Immersion editions, might see about getting them in 15 years or summat.

That listing in Japan seems to have gone, maybe it's not getting released now. I am playing the 10th anniversary album right now, that'll do me I think. I still watch the stuff on the DVD every now and then too, same for the EMG and GT ones. I'd only buy a DVD with the Astoria gigs on there and some interviews, etc, not another copy of the album on CD.

Has there actually been any concrete confirmation of any of this?
