Canada also add brokerage charges to mexican shoppers, even if there's a commercial agreement the likes of NAFTA. Non Europeans would get the VAT removed so the 43 pounds amount sounds about right.

Canadian mail is not cheap. We don't have a small parcel rate and we pay a lot to send a parcel.

Don't know what Amazon UK's delivery charge would be. For here, being the holiday season, the Customs delays would be long and I'd be lucky to get it in January.

You're terrifying me! I've never bought during holiday season and mexican customs are the worst worldwide, (they're always holding the wares) and also here the postal service doesn't work at all. If so i will get mine until february. You're lucky for being Canadian

The $34 shipping cost to Mexico sounds reasonable for the size and weight of the package.
