Pretty devastated I can't make the Q&A, would love to have been there. Good luck with it all; will be picking up a copy in some form when it arrives.

I think if you are patient you will find out more from the filmmakers and the locations of screening quite soon . We'll let you know as soon as we know.

What is going on with Sean on the front cover of the DVD? He looks like Brandon Flowers.

Ooh there's a cover picture now? *goes to check* Hmm, Nick and James look fine but Sean does look a bit odd, not sure about the Brandon Flowers thing though! Richey also looks a bit... cartoony somehow? Minor quibblage though.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who thought Sean looked a little odd.

Richey looks like a 4 year old with a LEGO haircut and Nicky's face looks like it's had half the skin taken away to reveal he's a termimator. JDB comes out of it well, mind.

Also, the Blu-Ray is currently a penny cheaper than the DVD on Amazon.

Thanks DK, didn't see a Blu-ray version when I searched the other day, will be getting that one.

I think I'm right in saying that this will actually be the first proper Manics-related Blu-ray disc of any kind, which considering the band's relationship with Sony (one of the format's greatest exponents) is beyond hilarious to me. Very pleased though.

I like the artwork but Richey does look odd. The extras sound good although the interview with Rush was previously listed as about 30 mins, now it's a 'music video'. Guess I'll update and buy a Blu Ray player in the January sales and make this my first Blu Ray, cos they still play DVDs don't they, so that'll be good.

The Amazon listing for the extras is formatted incorrectly, which makes it misleading. Here is how the listing should appear:

Nicky and Sean 2005 Extended Interview
Breakfast in New York with James and Dave
When The Manics Met Rush
Music Video - I Am Just A Patsy
Past Present Future Tour 2005 - 4 Song Concert Video

We have requested correction.

I would also like to assure anyone concerned that the discs will be compatible with both PAL and NTSC, and will be region-free.

Can you tell us what the four songs are from the PPF tour? Or have you already done so somewhere?

Ordered the blue rat version, looking forward to this.

(The cover is slightly amusing though. Sean's got no neck and Richey looks like a one armed teenage vampire. ☺)
