Just received my boxset - having not previously purchased the 10th anniversary edition, I'm well chuffed with it. I agree with others comments though, by missing off some tracks from the Astoria it does smack a little bit of the record company holding things back again for a future re-release. Rolling Stones do a similar thing (e.g their legendary Hyde Park show from 1969 has been released 3 times now, and there are still 3 tracks that are yet to be included on a release) and it is a bit infuriating.
Regarding the whole Judge Y'self/House in the Woods debate - this is discussed at length in this thread about EMG songs that were recorded before Richey disappeared. This topic really interests me and I'd love to know for definite which tracks Richey had actually heard before he disappeared. I know he obviously worked on the lyrics for stuff like 'Girl Who Wanted To Be God' , but whether he heard the proposed music to accompany the lyrics isn't clear. This is the thread: http://www.foreverdelayed.org.uk/for...ad.php?t=54397 |

I have just recieved my box set. I was wondering however if the signed version also came sealed? As mine is still sealed, but supposed to be the signed version!
On the invoice it doesn't say anything about being signed as well. Last edited by The Black; 20-12-2014 at 14:35. |

My signed one had the shrink wrap stuff with the sticker on it, yes. The signature is inside the box somewhere

Sorry if this has been asked previously, but does anyone know if Disc 3 (the B-sides disc) has also been remastered? I see that the first two are clearly stated as remasters in the artwork but it doesn't mention it for Disc 3.

Agree with other comments here - the vinyl sounds stunning. The clarity is definitely better than the remastered cd (listened to them back to back last night). Revol in particular benefits from being on vinyl as you can hear more layers of guitar that you can't hear on cd.
One thing though - when I initially played side 1 'Yes' skipped about all over the place but once I'd given the LP a quick skim over with an anti-static brush it was fine. Therefore for anyone worried that they might have a duff pressing it's probably static (my Lp was stuck to the inner cover by static when I first unwrapped it) |

I had a lovely Christmas not listening to mine due to it apparently being shipped on December 5th, but not being delivered. Chased it via email, only to get a reply last night saying they have refunded it, as it must have been lost in the post, and they'll be getting no more in stock. Not best pleased. Have read a few other horror stories on here about myplay, and never suffered before. Sadly, my time has come. Oh well. I'll wait for the drop in price instead.

It's beyond me that 20 years have not been enough for them to correct Tisu to Tiso. It was Jozef Tiso for nazi Slovakia. Or is english version Tisu? I doubt that.
