David Cross' story is really off to me. He only knew of Richey from photos of Lori's he'd seen, yet he felt confident enough to say "Hi Richey" to someone standing by a car. I'm not sure he'd recognise him with a shaved head. He was already missing, but he was casually hanging around outside a car?
Lori doesn't believe it was Richey but she's never said why. Even though he named her in his police report, which led to what she said was a buttful of crap for her for years they're still friends. She said his version of events is "a whole different story". Is it? When her name was linked? It's another story in the same situation. I don't know why he'd give false information, but his story is just so off.
