Covers are forgettable maybe because I've never listened to originals? But I like Under My Wheels it's full of aggro!

The chorus and guitar solo are great, but his vocals in the verse take some getting used to.

Well, I like this. That surprises me more than anyone. Must be that low, grumbly voice working on my resistance mechanisms? And yes, the guitars are great.

Same, wonderful cover, would actually welcome that in the live set! Next cover needs to be Wah's Story Of The Blues, you just know they'd nail it.

I think this is the first time in Manics history I learned they'd put a new song out because Radio 2 were playing it. I am not the girl I once was.

Just listened to it and must say I like it. Never heard the original though so cannot really compare.

Good stuff! Loving the low-range vocal, Bradders doesn't have the power in his top end anymore so it suits his voice to sing low.

I feel oddly ridiculous saying it, but isn't the guitar solo just fucking great? Maybe after all these years I'm just hard-wired to love ol' Jim's string-wrangling.
And to echo what others have said, I didn't know the original either. This is is the second time this week that an apparently well-known(ish) song from the 80's has passed me by entirely, after the slightly less obvious 'It's Obvious' by the Au Pairs.
