Ooh, cool.
And I s'pose I quite like the new song, even though I'm English. |

I had £2 of promotional credit for digital purchases with Amazon from using that slower shipping option as a Prime member.
Recently I noticed it always runs out before I can ever save up enough to rent a movie from them so I just purchased this on MP3 instead. I'll never get to watch Bridge of Spies now but there's no better feeling that doing your bit for charity without actually doing anything. |

It's genuinely good as football songs go, with the cheesy parts just bearable enough. And brave of them to take it on after the last novelty song: Ghosts of Christmas.
As Leicester have shown, football is very much a game of spirit. I can see Wales doing well this summer if any of this positive vibe is translated onto the pitch. England have the better team, but haven't had a positive vibe since 96, so I can see the group match being a repeat of the rugby. |

The Radio Wales documentary on the making of this is the best thing of its kind on them in years with a lot of interesting studio stuff.
They originally recorded a new cover of Can't Take My Eyes Off You complete with strings and Gavin Trumpetman and added the Wire's lyrics only to be refused permission to use the song late on. So they ripped it off instead. Classic Manics!! |

Yeah, very interesting little doc that and another one of JDB's polite voicemails to add to the archive. That's a meme, right? It should be.
I was thinking just that... Together Stronger We win if we unite A kick in the chops to the parochial brexit little englanders? One can only hope. That's how i like my manics.
