Yeah I assume the photo ID thing is to stop people using someone else's Covid status to get into the venue, which I dunno, I guess I can see it happening, but also not too often.

In any case I have packed my seven year old provisional licence with the sixteen year old photo on it, and that will serve me absolutely fine with no complications whatsoever I'm sure.

At Halifax last week I got my vaccine card out with my ID. I had a code thing on my phone but it was so much hassle and was only valid for 48 hours randomly even though the website claimed it would be for 30 days. Anyway, I dropped my ID on the floor as I was about to hand it to the person on the door, then as he picked it up for me he said he saw I had it and it was fine and just let me walk on in. Seemed a bit slack to me, but there you go.

Thing is those with letters won't have to show photo ID. In my view it's easier to pass a letter to someone than log in to an app as someone else ..odd. There's no legal requirement to carry photo ID so my credit card should be fine. Sounds like they haven't thought it through.
Anyway I shall stop whining now

2 hours 15 mins was what the guy at the Motorpoint said! Granted, he may just have been guessing from the band being due on at 8.45 and the curfew being 11.

I don’t think there is a support band tonight, we’d know by now. Himalayas have been announced for tomorrow but not tonight.

But all will soon be revealed in any case!
