I reckon after Track 12, disc 2’s remaining tracks are just the remaining B-Sides. Just a guess, obviously.

And here's me thinking the thread got bumped due to another "It's never going to happen" post!
This is good to wake up to. Now I just have my hearing to lament.

Yeah, that's what it looks like.

This is a pretty nice looking set, anyway, not so far off many of the predictions. Couple of oddities, like the two Epicentres. Still, only two months away!

So we think they'll skip the vinyl this time? They would need four vinyls to get those two discs of material all on there, so I'm not sure if the business case would be strong enough.

That makes more sense looking at the end of CD2. Locust Valley and Ballad of the Bankok Novotel certainly fit the theme of Solidarity, but perhaps they are sticking to an 'original tracklist' that Wire has dug out from the time of the album recording .Daniel and Little Trolls were definitely recorded in a later session so it's a good theory.

Nah, they'll be selling vinyls as long as you have a pound in your pocket. Maybe it'll follow the 2001 tracklist or be a 6LP monster.

Easily. The one that was so good they wanted it to be the song.

These demos will be great - they'll be the last of the true demos to be released, and not like the "this'll go on CD2" demos you get on new MSP albums, that seem a little more conscious of themselves at times.

Definitely, considering how rough some of the songs sound on the album too (said with affection) it will be very interesting to see what state the demos were recorded in. Wire's already talked about James' weird home demos so I can't wait for these.

Surprised Midnight Sun isnt included in this. Never rated it too much ,to be honest ,but they made quite a fuss about it being a KYE era track when it was released from what I remember.

Yeah very good point, these are going to be really interesting.

I’m surprised at IA having a demo. I always thought it was spoken about like the album version was pretty much the only take.

These are going to be fascinating.

Ocean Spray demo might be dropped-D like the early acoustic performances (and indeed album version) were before it became a standard tuned song not long after

Only just squeaked in, but you're spot on.

I can't wait for the videos of Rosebud and Studies In Paralysis to go live.
I'm still convinced Kieran Evans tweeted he'd been given a ton of home movie tapes from that period. As no DVD is listed, I'm more than up for a Pieces Of Sleep II: This time it's 2001 film to go up on YouTube.
Personal crisis, currently jumping through hoops to get Personal Independence Payments. So I think it'll either be the box or a show I can get. At least with the box it's more permanent.
