And for those in to that sort of thing it does feature James messing up a bit of Motorcycle Emptiness as he's too busy unbuttoning his shirt...

I remember watching this at the time and loving it, watching the 'new' songs loads at the time. They really still went all-out then and rocked each song, they're certainly not this way anymore looking back at this performance but then it is from 2006...

I like the xfm performance as it's clearly a last minute "would you do this gig?" in between type of look - JDB with the Great Western hair, the Lifeblood guitar straps, the band still with the Lifeblood gear. Is Wayne playing with them here?

I haven't watched it in years but I was there and remember it being filmed, such an exciting time for them really. It was probably the only time I enjoyed Patsy and Autumnsong, half of that era's songs aged like milk but the 2007/08 gigs were fantastic and it really revitalised them.

Hadn't really considered this but I'd be inclined to agree! I've seen a few older videos or photos or heard recordings from these kinds of transitional periods and it's always interesting (to the nerdy fans who care): the few dates in 93 before GATS, early 1994 before they'd properly entered the Bible era, the Wembley comeback show in 1995...

I loved that gig, one of the best I've been to. Just a real energy and defiance to it all. The KYE gig at the Apollo was great too, I'm hoping the gigs next year will reach those lofty heights.
