New Art Riot (In E minor)

I've just listened to this for the first time in a live version and it sounds the same as the normal one, it doesnt sound as if its keyed in e minor, am i missing something?

No you are right. It's no different and it certainly isn't in E minor.

I've put it through a blender, held it up to a light, cut it up into tiny little pieces and stuck it all back together, shoved a broom handle up its arse and made it pogo in a lift and stamped all over it... and it still sounds exactly the fucking same as the one which doesn't have 'in e minor' contained in brackets beneath itself.

Yep, it's definitely E major. Perhaps Richey came up with that particular title...

i always thought the title was some kind of joke. something in relation to the fact that James messes up the entire final verse.

I love that version of New Art Riot...

And no idea on the last verse. Does it bear any resemblance to the demo versions of New Art Riot that are floating about? (Haven't listened to them in a while, so can't say off the top of my head).

maybe James had taken an E before they played the song and he peaked during the last verse, hence, rendering his memory for the lyrics completely useless.

i honestly think he's just mumbling the melody for the last whole verse.
