New Manics cover on Radio 2 cd

I just bought the CD. OK, I've only listened to CD one, but with the exception of the Manics cover, there were only a couple of tracks that didn't make me skip frantically to the next one before I was overcome by the urge to drive into a bridge support. I've never before encountered a collection of covers that so comprehensively sucked the joy and life out of the originals.
