Don't know about anyone else, but considering Nicky's recent "I'm still so angry!" interview with NME, I actually feel quite disappointed and pissed-off that he hasn't said one thing about these education cuts, or wikileaks. This is a guy who will happily champion the social commentary of his album, but when it comes to proper mainstream interviews he talks about turkey kievs. Coldplay have more political credibility.

Yes but the political sphere he's put his allegiance in collapsed; socialism didn't work, he can't seem to bring himself to believe in any other political direction and, with the shame of the last Labour Government, having a go at the Coalition just looks like a whinge if you can't claim to be on better ground yourself.
Doesn't mean he's not as relevant as Coldplay though; political apathy's got a lot of people.
