I don't think PFAYM is a poor album - there's some real gems on that album - it's just not great in the same way that KYE wasn't great, but did have a few really top tunes. Unlike most of you, I couldnt care less how their singles fair; it's the quality of an album in it's entirety that makes a band/musician stand out for me especially when an artist has reached a stage in their career when they should be focusing on music that makes sense to them and not worrying about how many units they sell. If it's good, which we all know from previous endeavors by the band that they are more then capable of producing quality music, people will be drawn in as they have been in the past.

I don't think Postcards is a bad album either, it's mediocre for the most part but as you said has some great songs hidden within.

A change in management as well as record company would be good, independent promotion would hopefully improve then (see: the Manics internet site and mailing list failure).
