The Manic Street Preachers dedicated a song to their lost bandmate Richey Edwards as they noted the 16th anniversary of his disappearance.

The Welsh band performed an intimate gig in association with London's Hard Rock Cafe on Wednesday night, a day after the tragic milestone.

Rhythm guitarist Richey vanished on February 1, 1995, and was declared presumed dead in November 2008.

Introducing their track Faster at the Absolute Radio gig, the group paid tribute to their pal's "beautiful eyes" and "fierce intelligence" and said: "This would be for him."
^ from a news article my mum emailed me.
I know it was the day after the anniversary and everything, but I'm sure they've dedicated a song to Richey all 3 times I've seen them, so it's not that unusual, is it?
