James : Nicky, what's this Autumnsong shit? Nicky : it's deep J : deep how? N : Just deep. isn't it, Sean? Sean : J : OK, how deep is it? N : well, if the fans weren't carving our lyrics in their arms before, wait until they get a load of this J : erm, yeah, are you sure you don't want to save this for another solo album? N : thought of that, but i find it tricky to sing "hair" that many times. go on, you do it, you are much better at it. J : really? N : yes, Sean said so. didn't you Sean? S : J : well, yeah, OK then, we can record it, but it's not going on the album, we will just shove it out as a random b-side. N : yeah, sure, honest. oh, and on that note, why don't you take a bit of a break once we've finished recording, you know, go and look at some new amps or eat some pies. we'll put the record together, no problem, won't we Sean? S : J : are you sure? i've heard of a class new amp, dark solar or something. they stock it next to King Pie. N : yeah, go on. tuck in. J : Sean, you are going to make sure that Autumnsong or any other such shit doesn't make it on to the album, aren't you? S : J : cheers fella the above saw a very angry James put Nicky Wire on musical probation for a while. when Nicky sneaked the song out as a single whilst James was shown an image of a speaker with a pie on it, the Supreme Council of the Manics banned Nicky Wire from writing anything for a whole album, hence JFPL being the next release.
