this thread is tl;dr mate, so fair enough - as far as we can work out the offer simply "vanished". whether that means they sold out the stock they had for the exclusive or Sony decided "fuck you HMV" and withdrew it from them we just don't know.
the plan, as far as we are aware, is for them to, somewhat suicidally if they think it will actually chart, release the CD single of TITD on Nov 7 anyway.
