Since when did the Manics turning down the closing ceremonies become a flip of the bird to the Royal family? I thought it was about the extreme commercialization of the Olympics? Or maybe it's about none of the above given that no one in the band has commented on why they allegedly turned it down. One cryptic remark means nothing.

i get what you are saying, but on the other side anyone who starts gambling "because Nicky Wire does and he is so fucking cool" deserves to lose everything they own and hopefully it will teach them.
