Replace The Missing Word
'Inspired' by this video of Life Becoming A Landslide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mFcE_47OGk
…where the uploader thought it a good idea to mute the audio at every mention of the word 'pornography' in the lyrics for some reason. I thought it might be fun to imagine some alternative lyrics. I do not claim this to be a completely original idea: TV and radio shows have had similar games for years - but here's how we play: The first poster chooses a Manics lyric, but omits a word or words from the line, e.g.: "My idea of love comes from a childhood glimpse of ___ " The next reply will suggest a word or words to replace the missing one(s) and complete the lyric... e.g.: "My idea of love comes from a childhood glimpse of geography" and then suggest their own lyric with a word or words blanked out (there will be no cheque-book and pen* though, sorry). *reference to old UK gameshow 'Blankety Blank' for any foreign forumers who don't know what I'm going on about there… etc. So, let's start with the example again: "My idea of love comes from a childhood glimpse of ___ "
