And yeah, it always depresses me just how unfair the stalls are when people are squashed together at the front and the woman who is only 5'2" despite her best efforts can't see anything but the back of the guys standing in front of her. At least mosh pits aren't anywhere near as crushing and violent as they used to be. I remember my 1st MSP gig getting punched repeatedly in the back as they started with Motown Junk, then a boot in the head from a crowd surfer before the song was out...
