Faster at Glastonbury 94

A bit of a muso's question this.

I am working at the BL this week and they have a Punk 1976-78 exhibition on at the minute. It's pretty cool.

I was listening to some random songs on the headphones in there and Public Image Ltd's first single "Public Image" came on.

I notice the intro to that song is a bass riff and Lydon shouting "Hello, hello, hello."

Jimbo also shouts "Hello, hello, hello" over Nicky's bass when they step on stage and start Faster at Glastonbury 94. Does anyone know if he has ever mentioned this as a little planned homage or subconscious coincidence?
