Verse-chorus-verse-chorus-solo-chorus. One dimensional. Same old dated Eringa strings. Weak ending. 3:40 long.

Or maybe it sounds nothing like something from SATT!!

A mix of
Send Away The Tigers intro
This Joke Sport Severed strings
Enola/Alone euphoria
with a tiny bit of You Love Us aggression
I think they will have composed a song that perfectly builds into something you can only describe as 'The Manics'.

I think the single is going to sound like a 'ballad' and will be one of the songs with a gospel choir.

I'm really not sure the lead single will be a ballad. Surely it makes better sense to have something which will 'tear your face off'?

I know it's not a ballad - they haven't really had any - but Tolerate didn't exactly 'tear your face off' did it?

I reckon this album will be quite sentimental and not a lot of 'rocking out'.

Big sound, strings, EMG style sound, heavier on the music than the lyrics.

I totally agree with both of you. Plus a soaring massive chorus that's great for shouty-pointy, I reckon.

OK, so in fairness it seems to me like it wasn't 3:40 long.

I'll start:

It will start with a slow rising melody hook with powerchords and strings. The verse will be quite short and straightforward before setting up the chorus (which will prob be the title repeated a couple of times). More strings then a second verse which will be quieter after those strings before building up into the chorus again (repeated twice). I'm not so sure there will be a solo, more an instrumental break. Back into chorus. Fancy outro and third no.1 of their career due to Sony craftily releasing it on a slow week (like that hadn't helped before!!!)
Winner!
