I have a theory that they're saving NZ for the Rugby World Cup next year, then we'll get a Manics tour of all the venues the Welsh team are playing - Hamilton, Rotorua, New Plymouth, all the hotspots!

Seriously though, their last gig in the UK is on Nov 1, and the first Aus gig isn't until the 13th. They could definitely squeeze Auckland in there if they wanted to.

Hmmm...i think if they gonna tour NZ, it would be after the Aussie dates 'cos it looks like that Nov 1st-13th gap is just enough time for them to bring themselves,their crew and gears to the other side of the globe.

But it would great if they can squeeze in date though (*wishful thinking*) =)

I suppose it could be done, there was a similar thing recently when there was a petition to bring Metallica to Christchurch. Slight difference, their facebook group had a 27,000 members, I think there is about five of us so far.

I sharnt worry. The dedicated fanbase and the fact their albums still chart relatively well in New Zealand should see them there just before/after Australia.
