Then the choir sing "Lalalalala" and he appears to have answered his own question: "Where did it all go wrong?"

Not only is Golden Platitudes my favourite song on the album....it is now one of my favourite Manics songs ever!

Lyrically it's Nicky's best in a long time and as for the choir at the end.
