Is anyone out there going to the Bournemouth gig? I've looked on here and not seen many mentions of it plus unsure if its actually sold out!?!?!

We're going to the gig but I'm getting more concerned that the area is a bit of a shithole at best, dangerous at worst! Bad reviews of the nearby Whetherspoons as well, any ideas where to go for a drink before and/or after the gig?

It's not the nicest area of Bournemouth to be honest...there is a pub next door though and the Wetherspoons as well - haven't been to any of them in ages though so couldn't tell you what they're like on a Friday...I'd be inclined to maybe go to Bournemouth itself if you fancy a drink before/after (about 10 mins, 15 max on a bus).

You can probably pick up a bus from outside the station, or take a taxi as it's not far. Hope to see you there

Should be easy to get to by bus, Yellow Bus no. 2 goes that way as the Wilts and Dorset Night bus I think. Boscombe has a bad rep (mainly drug related) but in the grand scheme of things its not that bad. I'd definately go into Bournemouth if you are looking to go somewhere afterwards.
