Here's an mp3 of the Wolverhampton live recording (left ear) and studio version (right ear) mixed together.

he definitely doesn't sing "xd".

but the way he sings the lyric makes it sound like "my idea of A love comes from".

James just seems even lazier now and only sings and plays half a song. That's ignoring the solos. He hasn't been bothered about playing them in their entirety for many, many years.

edit: and it's not the accent. He just can't remember the words - he does it all the time

I think that's a bit unfair! Yeah, he drops lines occasionally but that doesn't mean that he's only playing half the song!

^ He drops a lot of lines, and dropped some bits of the song...but he has to play a lot!

They played it live at the Melkweg, Amsterdam gig and I honestly think it sounded great!

I'm pretty sure at wolves he sang "don't fall in love cos we hate you still" insetead of "don't fall in love..." he usually misses that one.

The problem with this song is the chorus, too dreary, otherwise it would stand more easily alongside the other great singles, was pleased to see it back on the setlist though - a good song even if not quite a great one.
