It just wouldn't be a...any day of the year, without a meaningless Q poll.

Q has been so shit for so long now that people have forgotten it was actually a fine magazine in the 90s.

Q used to be great til all the good journalists (the -ugh I hate this word- edgy ones) went to The Word magazine, which is now my favourite. Cynical, sharp and don't appear to be sucking too much cock of anyone they review/interview. I realise that may offend some, but fuck you if that's the case. If you can't see that in Q you're blind, stupid or both.
Qs Best Band Called Radiohead Poll goes to...

I miss "Who The Hell Does... Think They Are?" and even Mr Agreeable from another magazine.
There's none of that in print journalism now. So I hope editors of Q, NME etc cry themselves to sleep at nights knowing N-Dubz etc are carrying on unchallenged. What's thin and falls from the sky? Print journalism's readership figures. (Even then that unfunny jokes still probably too edgy for them) |
